Back in the North West Cross hot bed; Portland, OR

The second half of the Cyclocross campaign begins tomorrow here in Portland, Oregon.  After a two week break from the racing scene I am feeling ready to pin the numbers on and chase the best riders around the Portland International raceway in the mud or maybe some dry course conditions.  I haven’t done a very hard effort in a couple of weeks, since New Jersey actually.  After the long season of road racing and deciding to go for a shot at the Worlds Team in Belgium, I decided it would be important to take another break before 2 more months of racing.  It is going to hurt tomorrow, but I think in a couple weeks the rest will show for sure. Especially when I will be trying to hang with the Euros.

I will be launching my fund raising campaign tomorrow or the next day so that I can make the Euro trip happen. It is crazy how expensive traveling is right now.  Check out the new layout for the site and let me know your thoughts.  I think it is pretty cool.   Also, I am going to be doing daily updates starting  now on my racing and the European Trip.  More to come on all of that.  Right now, it is off to bed to prepare for tomorrows throw down.  I am pumped to be back on the scene!
